Since retiring I started to pick up paintbrushes and calligraphy pens again, to paint and create as well as explore lettering. I love reading, photography, travel and also enjoy cafe culture while indulging in cappuccinos!
We moved to Cornwall from Sussex in 2001 and owned a traditional style village tearoom for 6 years. We then bought a large Guest House in Bude and for 8 years loved running it. Many of our guests have become friends for life. Since retirement I have enjoyed learning to paint in watercolour and then acrylic paint. I created my Fabulous Creatures Collection of Cards and Prints as seen here and also picked up my Calligraphy pens again developing a love for Modern Calligraphy. I love making little books and enjoy bookbinding. Writing is a big part of my life and once a month I write an article on miscellaneous topics for a local magazine. I like to inspire others to be creative and think positively.
