Based in Buckinghamshire, Sharyn produces a range of contemporary lighting, installations and sculptures for the home and commercial environments. Inspired by the effects of light, shade, repetition and the impact this can bring to an environment, her work encompasses the use of fine papers and polymers, hand crafted and combined into organic, geometric 3-dimensional forms.
A range of contemporary lightshades and chandeliers are available in a selection of sizes and styles to add that individual style to any room. Produced from fine polymers, the initial appearance of the lights is one of paper folded in geometric forms, when lit , the lights come alive and show their hidden side – with textural shadows being cast around the area adding a more dynamic atmosphere to any environment. The lights will not discolour, fade or degrade; the lights will not attract static and remain virtually dust free.
Along with a current range of lightshades, a more personalised option is available with pierced designs further added to the geometric shapes adding further shadows and textural effects to the surroundings. These are designed, cut and built to clients’ requirements and can be site specific. Each piece is designed with frame concepts suitable to the environment in which it will be installed.
