Jacqui had found her niche and she moved on to become a Marketing Executive at a bureau and software products company where she launched Kernel a PC based Project Management System.
Jacqui then moved to an organisation which was selling mainstream PC products, Ashton Tate where launched dBaseIII Plus and managed UK Marketing for dBase product range. dBase was the market leader for database solutions for the PC Market. Moving from there to Migent where she was the European Sales and Marketing Director. Planning, budgeting, and implementing all European Marketing including National Press and Radio. The business which was very profitable and leading edge in the database market grew from zero to $5.3M, during the two years she worked there.
Jacqui has worked with and for many of the well-known companies offering software products, and on solutions based on major products:

- Intuit,
- WordStar,
- Geo-Works,
- Symantec,
- Microsoft,
- Oracle,
- Alphameric,
- HP,
- Dell,
- Microsoft,
- VMWare,
- Cisco.
Working in a wide variety of interesting and varied roles, from European Managing Director, EMEA link for a transitional takeover, market and partner development, sales and marketing, investor analysis, background market research. set up of a UK Subsidiary, to name just a few.
With a wealth of experience and marketing knowledge, she has worked in more strategic areas as well, such as;
- The development and coordination of academic research looking at the change of working practices with the “Future of Work” and “Tomorrow’s Work.”,
- Partner Cloud Initiative – preparing partners for the move from on premise licencing to subscription including business modelling and development of partner guides.
- Dynamics Retail UK Product Lead – develop and manage channel partners in the UK and Europe, technical sales, new product launches, brand development.
Latterly Jacqui has set up organisations to provide channel and marketing consultancy to technology businesses, and sold a social community App for the IT industry to enable partner ecosystems to engage, connect, communicate, and share.
Jacqui has always had an active and busy lifestyle, she has three daughters, and loves to ski. She used to ride horses but has given up the saddle in exchange for horse racing.
Jacqui’s advice to anyone starting out in a career is to try lots of things, her career in the IT channel world was not something she learned about in school or university. Her career has taught her about Relationship and Partner management, IT and Marketing. Interestingly all areas in which women are hugely successful.
