The competence framework provides a description of a mentor at four levels of development and the competence indicators are examples of behaviours or principles that meet the eight competency areas which are described in our Building Expertise page.
We aim to align our service to the framework of the ILM, and all our competencies and training are built on that basis.
If you are interested in working at a higher level, take a look at our training programme, its not all chalk and talk, we are building our programme around practice. Working with other members, to improve our skills and expertise to provide the very best mentoring experience for our members.
