Level 2 Mentoring Skills align with level two on the competency framework view here. Expanding the skills and practice of our mentors, bringing in reflective practice.
The training takes place on line and with limited numbers to maximise on everyone’s experience. Work takes place together and in breakout groups. We believe there is real value in our community training together and there is much we can learn from each other. Practising our skills together allows us to have time to reflect on that practice, and understand the value of reflection.
At some point in the future we plan to hold some of these training sessions at a venue, which will allow us to increase the group size and incorporate more networking into the day. In todays world we recognise that the world has got smaller, so there will always be a place for on line training, making it more accessible and cost effective for all our members.
